Established in 1994
Zanea Shoes got its start through its founder, Clarito Casano, who spent most of his childhood working at his father’s small shoe factory. Later on he put together his decades-long knowledge in shoemaking combined with his 15 years of experience in marketing and sales to start his own shoe retail company.
Made in partnership with local shoemakers
Each pair of shoes is a result of the collaboration of Zanea’s team along with local shoemakers–mostly from Marikina. One of the main principles of the company is that shoes must be of high quality to last for years, and it must be comfortable for the ease of the customers. With that, there is direct involvement in the design and manufacturing process to ensure that each style passes the standard of comfort and quality that Zanea continuously upholds. This collaboration with the local shoemakers also helps give support to the Philippine shoe industry, making Zanea Shoes a company that is for and by the Filipinos.
